Australian and New Zealand Hip Fracture Registry 2021 Annual Report has just been released.
Reducing harm from falls was a national programme led by the Health Quality & Safety Commission, working in partnership with a wide range of stakeholder organisations, from 2012–13 until 2017–18. Work began in mid-2012 with the aim of reducing the harm that people can suffer if they fall and hurt themselves – especially older people receiving care, whether in hospital, residential care, or in their own home.
